Dear fellow T-town seniors,
As you embark on the closing of your high school years and the beginning of your college remember to soak up every piece of advice. When you move on to your first year of college as an adult and say good bye to the structure that's contained you for the last thirteen years take with you your personal experience of whats worked best for you. When you make your school schedule ask your self what hours you are most productive, whens your favorite time to exercise, and if you will be working what hours. Invest in a planner and make it your best friend!!! Schedule everything from lunch with friends, to classes, and study time. Live in the dorm, make new friends. Get involved! Find something, anything, an intrest group, a sorority, math club.... the list is never ending. Making webs of contacts is laying the foundation of success. Study hard, set up a precedent of achieving good grades. Don't date your first semester, spend it getting adjusted. Don't forget to have some fun with friends and family on the weekend. Be smart! Wrap it before you tap it. Take classes to help you transition and learn to use the university resources.
Good luck,
Nikkie
